A rare Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust reference 1601 model with a solid 18 carat gold baton marker 'pie pan' dial that is a stunning and rare dark blue colour. All of the print and minute track is done in a gold colour that pops from the blue dial. The case is made in stainless steel and features an eighteen carat yellow gold bezel and crown. The watch is powered by the classic Rolex Swiss made twenty six jewel automatic calibre 1570 that also powered the iconic sports watches such as the GMT and the Submariner. The watch was made circa 1977 with serial number 506XXXX. This watch comes with a Rolex service guarantee card,following a Rolex service that protects the watch until July 2016.
